This coming September our nation will mark the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and will pause to remember the events of that fateful day. On that Sunday, September 11, 2011, your Chancel Choir along with special guests The Concert Bells of Fort Worth will present a concert of patriotic and memorial music to celebrate our country, and to honor both the victims and the emergency responders who lost their lives on that dark day now almost ten years past. In the coming weeks we will make promotional material available for you to distribute to friends, neighbors, co-workers and family members which will include more details about this special event. Please mark you calendar and plan to attend. The concert will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Mesquite Arts Center lo-cated at 1527 N. Galloway Avenue.

Presbyterian Church USADaily Readings: The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) web service has several documents that change daily. Many people find them useful for daily meditation and prayer, or simply as a way to learn about Christian faith and the work we are doing in the world. The daily readings include a daily lectionary, mission yearbook, and questions from the new catechism.
